Before you start your foray into the land of digital marketing, know that things have changed since the early days!

I am a dinosaur, having worked and built an online platform and business since 2014. Sheesh, that's crazy to think about. But before my online life, I used my marketing degree and entrepreneurial skills to train customer service teams to take care of customers on the phone and in-person. I also built deeply connected customer experience businesses full of loyal clients and customers who were proud to have me as their service provider.

When Entrepreneur was looking for experts to contribute to an article on the definition of digital marketing in 2024, I knew there would be tonnes about B2B strategies and AI. I knew I might be an outliner in talking about old-school personal branding that builds a customer's experience today now more than ever when everything feels "artificial."
