No, I'm not quitting what I do.

Opportunities right for growing will often look like something you would have never considered.
When people feel restless and ready for more, they focus on what new they could create within their current realm.
You know the mind chatter:
"Do I go for the promotion at work?"
"Do I start a new offer in my business?"
Most people get stuck in what they should be doing to get the next momentum.
Over the years, I've seen a better way to approach getting there, and I just experienced it myself.
I have decided to run for a City Council position in Lloydminster, SK/AB, Canada. This idea was not on my radar until a few weeks ago, but that restless-ready feeling had been in my mind and heart for a while as the opportunity presented itself. I did what I help my people do:
I went into deep reassessment to find my current "confidence compass" to be sure that whatever came to me as possibilities would match up with how I wanted to feel about my next contribution.
It's an exercise that helps you uncover the new combination of your gifts, talent, values, virtues, who you serve, the outcome you create using all of those for those people and the overall mission of your life—not your work but the character of how you show up.
When you're clear, you get clear answers, opportunities that look and feel tailored to you and a wave of support to go along with them. I've gotten all of this, and I am so grateful!
The moral of the story is, don't force yourself into something new to "do" when you're feeling ready for a change. Instead, flow into renewing who you want to "be" at this stage and let the possibilities reveal themselves to you in that intention.
And just so you know, NO! I am not leaving my work as an image and confidence coach, business consultant and success mentor. My Hue and Style® work is the heart of my life's contribution, with my last client intake for the year happening now if you ever want to work with me. If I'm honored with the position, this City gig would be my giving back contribution, and I'm happy to share it.
So, now, cue that Ne-yo's song! There's so much more to come. "Let's go!"
